The Spring Chow Mein Sale on March 21 has been postponed to a later date.
During this time of uncertainty with COVID-19, we wanted to take caution and postpone the fundraiser.
If you have purchased a ticket for chow mein, please hold on to them to be used for the next sale. We will contact you when a date has been decided on. Otherwise, if you would like a refund, please contact your seller or Anna Kato to make arrangements for your refund.
We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause you.
All temple services and activities are cancelled until the end of April.
This affects Hanamatsuri and Keirokai scheduled for April 19. Also, Socho Aoki's visit has been postponed.
We have recently received a notice from Bishop Tatsuya Aoki, JSBTC , advising all temples to review activities scheduled for the next couple of months. This includes services and cultural activities held in the temple. He advised us to be cautious since we have members who are elderly.
The Steveston, Vancouver, Fraser Valley and Toronto temples are cancelling all services until the end of April. The JSBTC AGM to be held in Lethbridge – April 24-26 has been cancelled.
The Kamloops Buddhist Temple has decided to do the same.
Please stay healthy and take care.
